  • Saturday 5th - Andy Murray (music, not tennis!) plays The Loch Inn, Gairloch

  • Shieldaig Fete
  • - Round the Island kayak race, Hill Race, Stalls, Bouncy Castle, Tug of War, 5 aside football and much more. Traditional Music in the Bar, and Street performers. 9pm until midnight, Street Ceilidh with the Lochcarron Band incl "Horsebox" Bar.

Sunday 6th
  • "Mad about Chamber Music", Macphail Centre, Ullapool. Website as above.
  • From today until Saturday 19th - "Real Ale Experience" at the Ben Damph Inn, 14 Scottish Real Ales to try.

All Week: National Whale and Dolphin Watch Week. Participate in Sea and Land based watches, recording your personal sightings which will be forwarded to the "Sea Watch Foundation".   • The "Great Wilderness Challenge" walk, Start / Finish at Poolewe.
  • Poolewe Hall, 8pm. Ceilidh and Dance to "Reel Din", in support of Dundonnell Mountain Rescue and as part of the Wilderness Challenge
