Royal Mail Postbus timetables
The Royal Mail postbus service varies slightly from area to area, and is basically a method of delivering yourself along with the mail and parcel services to remote areas. There is a cost involved, but it's not very expensive. Bear in mind that the vehicles used are NOT buses, but are usually cars, therefore there is no guarantee of seats.
There are Postbus services on the following routes:
- Service 091: Alligin - Kinlochewe
- Service 092: Applecross - Toscaig - Shieldaig - Torridon
- Service 096: Arnisdale - Kyle of Lochalsh
- Service 118: Kyle of Lochalsh - Letterfearn
- Service 119: Kyle of Lochalsh - Plockton
- Service 131: Shieldaig - Strathcarron - Kishorn
